Your herbal specialist for awakening the true Qi life force you were born with.
My Inspiration
I became a medical herbalist and integrative health practitioner after the symptoms of my autoimmune condition, lichen sclerosus, were reversed by Traditional Chinese Medicine. More than a decade ago, I was diagnosed with this rare autoimmune condition months after my mother received a terminal brain cancer diagnosis. Due to the triggering nature of the condition, I was simultaneously battling chronic UTIs, tension headaches, hemorrhoids, and severe depression. My emotional and physical states were abysmal and the severe physical pain left me barely able to walk or shower for months.
After receiving biopsies from a myriad of Western physicians, prescriptions of every steroid under the sun, and serious recommendations to have parts of my vulva surgically removed, I was desperate to find any type of alternative intervention. One day, I walked past a sign in Sydney, Australia that read, “Don’t tell me what is wrong with you, I’ll tell you what is wrong with you.” Intrigued, I walked inside and was inspired to try Traditional Chinese Medicine care. The practitioner took a look at my tongue, pulse, nails, and skin and immediately mentioned that “Qi is weak, hormones are low, digestion is not good, and the body is inflamed.” This was the birth of my true introduction to Eastern medicine, and it forever changed my life’s course.
My Mission
Customized Chinese medicine, medical qigong, nutritional supplementation, dietary interventions, and flower essence therapy were all used in my treatment protocol, which ultimately led to the symptom-free state I’m in today. With the remarkable results I had experienced, I instantly dedicated my life to Eastern and Western botanical education and energetic healing, vowing to assist individuals with chronic disease and systemic imbalance.
Today, I specialize in supporting the conditions of autoimmunity, infertility, and emotional trauma, and am able to confidently care for a wide range of other health complications as well. I take immense care to thoughtfully listen to each client, understand their unique physical, mental, and spiritual state, and craft customized herbal formulas that specifically address their health presentations.
I’m devoted to providing the clinic with herbs that are either foraged here in Colorado or grown organically from an ethical source. It’s essential to me that the nutritional content of all herbal formulas remain chemical-free, gluten-free, corn-free, palm-free, and vegan. This supports my ethos of providing the best care for every client while also living in harmony with the Earth.
By combining high-level herbal research, clinical expertise, and a warm, supportive presence,
I strive to offer comfort, hope, and, most importantly, results, to anyone trying to reclaim their vital life force.
Through my expertise and clinical experience, I am proud to be in a position where I can also offer comprehensive online courses and medically formulated commercial tinctures. You can find me speaking at herbalism conferences nationwide, contributing written articles for various publications and schools, and mentoring budding herbalists.
When we as humans thoughtfully use these medicinal gifts the plants have curated, we too receive the wonderful, nourishing, and therapeutic health benefits.
My Personal Life
My heritage stems from the Hawaiian Chinese lineage (AAIP), which, from a young age, has had a large influence on my understanding of alternative medicines and has naturally encouraged me to gravitate toward Eastern medicine. When I’m not in the clinic, I spend as much time in the sunshine as possible. I love surfing the coasts of Mexico, jumping in fresh rocky mountain rivers, and skinning up snowy mountains at sunrise. The qi and beauty in a flower never cease to amaze me, and I’m always truly moved when an entire conference audience becomes emotional after attendees sense their innate qi for the first time.
