Meet Dana
Founder & Lead Practitioner
M.A., R.H. (AHG), BCMH, CTCMP
Over the last decade, our founder and lead practitioner, Dana Hutchinson, has had the pleasure of speaking at dozens of events across the country — including the International Herb Symposium, the American Herbalist Guild Symposium, the Community Roots Midwifery Summit, the Multiple Sclerosis Summit, and the Good Medicine Confluence — while also serving as a guest on a number of health-related podcasts and submitting articles for publication in national magazines.
In addition to running the Wildflower Clinic in Golden, Colorado, Dana also brings her vibrant energy and expertise to the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism as a faculty member and to the Apothecary Tinctura in Denver as a routine herbalism instructor. As an American Herbalist Guild registered mentor, Dana shares her wealth of herbalism knowledge and warm disposition through many platforms, including her 1-on-1 herbalism mentorships and regular editorial contributions to Mother Earth Living magazine. (See Dana’s full resume and credentials, here.)
Dana finds great joy in sharing her clinical and personal expertise worldwide and is available to travel for select events. If you’re interested in welcoming Dana to join you for a conference or event, be a guest on your podcast, or write an article for your publication, please review the teaching requirements and the topics that Dana specializes in, below.

Existing Client Follow-Up Session
Options: In-office or Virtual
If two individuals are trying to conceive, both should attend the session.
Session Time: 50 hours
Follow-Up Fee: $130
The existing client follow-up sessions are scheduled to stay on top of your integrative protocol. During these sessions, we will address any questions or concerns, discuss the progress of your customized herbal protocol, and make any necessary adjustments to formulations. Follow-up sessions are a crucial part of your health progress here at the Wildflower Clinic, and it’s through these sessions that we’ll ensure we see progressive improvements in your case.
**Please note that for every follow-up session, the Wildflower Clinic conducts approximately 1-2 hours of case review and additional research before the session takes place.
How many sessions? Cases vary, but we often recommend having 1 follow-up session per 4-5 weeks for 6- 8 months following your new client intake, followed by 1 follow-up session every 2-3 months after the 8-month mark has passed.

When qi is balanced, there is harmony
TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
During your TCM diagnostic assessment, your practitioner will examine your tongue, nails, pulse, and skin for visible clues about the state of your health.
Characteristics like the texture and shape of your tongue, the strength of your nails, and the vitality of the skin on your face can give clues to the state of your digestion, blood circulation, energy meridians, and more. Your practitioner will pay close attention to these details to target imbalances and make informed decisions about the direction of care needed to promote the flow of qi, or vital energy, within your body.
